A KCS Belle ACE/Grey AC44 combo gets Eastbound CPKC train 248-02 back on the move again, after a lengthy delay at Sturtevant, Wisconsin to setout a car. Old Milwaukee Road-vintage pole lines still skirt the right of way along a few stretches of CPKC's C&M Subdivision. Near Somers, WI.

Before starting the trip to Eagle Bridge, the Batten Kill guys had to shuffle the empties around. Normally this isn't out of the ordinary for a rural short line, but what made this time interesting was the RS-36/RS-36/RS-1 combo being used to re-arrange a handful of empties. This was before we even got to the RS-3 waiting in the wings to make the run to the interchange.
Here we see Delaware & Hudson-painted RS-36 #5012 (not actually a former D&H unit) easing up the Cargill lead to tie down behind the mill.
