À Saint-Malo, l’Aquamuros bat son plein ce week-end
Plus de 300 nageurs se sont élancés, ce samedi 27 septembre, à l’occasion de la seconde édition d’Aquamuros. Au total, la compétition de nage en eau libre rassemble près de 1 000 participants dans la cité corsaire ce week-end.
La plage de l’Éventail était bien animée, ce samedi 27 septembre 2025, pour la première course d’Aquamuros. Pour inaugurer la deuxième édition de la course en eau libre (en mer), organisée en six épreuves, des nageurs de tous les âges ont franchi la ligne de départ pour affronter la première d’entre elles, une course sur 3 km.
1 000 participants en deux jours
Plusieurs courses, destinées aux nageurs aguerris comme amateurs, sont prévues ce week-end. Sur des distances de 1 à 10 km, ils affronteront mer et vent à travers différents parcours, dans une eau a 17 degrés. Samedi après-midi, les plus jeunes courageux se sont mis à l’eau pour la course enfant, un parcours semé d’obstacles sur le sable et dans l’eau.
Dès sa première édition, l’année dernière, l’Aquamuros était devenue la plus grosse manifestation du genre en Bretagne. C’est de nouveau le cas cette année, avec près de 1 000 participants inscrits en deux jours. Ce dimanche, trois courses partiront de la plage de l’Éventail, à 10 h (5 et 10 km) et à 14 h 30 (1 km).
Pour l’Aquamuros à Saint-Malo, les enfants aussi se mettent à l’eau
Pour cette deuxième édition de l’Aquamuros à Saint-Malo, la compétition de nage en eau libre, les enfants étaient aussi de la partie avec une épreuve pour les nageurs de 4 à 10 ans.
La nage en eau libre a trouvé son public, même auprès des plus jeunes. Ce samedi 27 septembre 2025, près d’une centaine d’enfants ont participé à leur épreuve de l’Aquamuros, sur la plage de l’Éventail à Saint-Malo (Ille-et-Vilaine).
« Je me suis entraîné »
Une course sur le sable et en mer, semée d’obstacles en tous genres : toiles d’araignées, pneus, ramper… « J’ai un peu peur », avoue Ambre, 5 ans. Pour sa première course, elle sera accompagnée de son beau-père, qui nagera demain sur l’épreuve des 5 km. « Moi je ne suis pas stressé, raconte Jules, son grand frère. Je me suis bien entraîné à la mer et à piscine. »
C’est aussi la première course de Margot et Anna, respectivement 10 et 5 ans. Les deux sœurs avaient assisté à la course l’année dernière et voulaient à leur tour se jeter à l’eau : « On a hâte ! »
AquaMuros à Saint-Malo : plus de 1 000 nageurs attendus plage de l'Eventail
Après une 1ère édition à succès, les associations Saint-Malo natation et Dinan natation sauvetage reconduisent l'AquaMuros, samedi 27 et dimanche 28 septembre, plage de l'Éventail.
Pour la seconde année consécutive, l’AquaMuros comptera pour la finale de la coupe de Bretagne d’eau libre. Après avoir attiré près de 850 participants en 2024 (licenciés ou non), plus d’un millier sont attendus cette année, samedi 27 et dimanche 28 septembre 2025, plage de l’Éventail, à Saint-Malo (Ille-et-Vilaine).
Le plus grand événement en eau libre de Bretagne
« AquaMuros est devenu le plus grand événement de nage en eau libre de Bretagne. La beauté du site, au pied du Fort national, et une bonne organisation, ont largement contribué à la réussite de l’événement l’an dernier », soulignent Maxime Van-Lierde, codirecteur d’AquaMuros avec Matthieu Collin.
Pour cet événement, qui mobilisera 100 bénévoles, un village de partenaires sera monté au pied des remparts, Cale des bains chauds, pour accueillir sportifs et visiteurs. Un écran géant permettra de suivre les courses en temps réel.
Pour tous les niveaux
Les inscriptions sont toujours ouvertes sur le site internet ffneaulibre.fr, avec six parcours au choix : 1 km, 3 km, 5 km, 10 km et deux relais 4×500 m mixte et open.
« Celle de 3 km sera celle qui rassemblera le plus de participants avec une jauge de 400 nageurs. La jauge est fixée à 150 participants pour le 10 km, 200 pour le 5 km et 250 pour le 1 km. La petite boucle de 1 km est idéale pour les parents avec enfants, les couples ou les jeunes nageurs licenciés. »
Les enfants âgés de 4 à 10 ans ne sont pas oubliés, car une épreuve Kids Aventure leur est dédiée le samedi 27 septembre à partir de 14h15 (réservation sur helloasso.com sur la page de Saint-Malo natation).

Trophée AQUAMUROS x SNSM au cumul des épreuves du 10 kilomètres et du 3 kilomètres.

During the 1970's Anno produced a series of works using Japanese paper cutting techniques. These initially focused on well known Japanese folk tales.
