We celebrate light in our pictures. Understanding how light interacts with the camera is paramount to the work we do. The temperature, intensity and source of light can wield different photography effect on the same subject or scene; add ISO, aperture and speed, the camera, the lens type, focal length and filters…the combination is varied and multi-layered and if you know how to use them all, you will come to appreciate that all lights are useful, even those surrounded by a lot of darkness.
We are guided by three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, our longing to capture in print, that which is beautiful, the constant search for the one picture, and constant barrage of new equipment and style of photography. These passions, like great winds, have blown us across the globe in search of the one and we do understand the one we do look for might be this picture right here for someone else out there.

Equipment consists of 18 Nippon Sharyo DMUs (12 A units with cab and 6 C center trailers with cab) delivered between August 2014 and March 2015.

El Puente de Ajuda (o Ayuda) fue mandado construir en 1509 por Manuel de Avís, rey de Portugal, apodado “el afortunado”. Sirvió de comunicación durante dos siglos, hasta que fue derribado por las tropas partidarias de Felipe de Anjou durante la Guerra de Sucesión Española, en 1709.
Su utilidad principal era conectar Olivenza con el resto del Reino de Portugal. La función era precisamente ayudar a Olivenza en caso de que necesitaran intervención militar. Era un territorio más de Portugal desde el siglo XIII, pero estaba separado de Elvas, la ciudad de importancia más cercana, por el río Guadiana.
Olivenza continuó siendo territorio portugués durante un siglo más, pero quedó aislada por conexión directa con Portugal, ya que para ir hasta Elvas debían atravesar territorio castellano. Fue en la Guerra de las Naranjas, en 1801, cuando el ejército de Napoleón y el Primer Ministro Manuel Godoy, valido del Borbón Carlos IV, conquistó casi 20 territorios portugueses, los cuales fueron devueltos pocos años después a Portugal, salvo el de Olivenza.
A raíz de aquí hubo varios tratados, entre los más importantes el de París de 1814 y el de Viena en 1815 donde se pactaron diferentes concesiones entre Portugal y España. Los portugueses nunca han reconocido Olivenza como territorio español, y por tanto tampoco el Puente de Ajuda, mientras que España interpretó esos tratados reconociendo como propia toda la zona oliventina.

El evento realizado en el Gimnasio Municipal de la ciudad, convocó la presencia de más de 1100 personas, quienes disfrutaron de una jornada llena de entretención, preparada especialmente para ellos.
