The Walker’s bright purple jacket contrasted with a derelict pottery factory site as she strolled along the canal towpath.

Sunshine reflects off the surface of the canal up onto the roof arch of an old brick built bridge. The ripples make a pattern on the bricks under the arch illuminating the whole structure. Dimminsdale Wharf, Staffordshire, England.

An austere brutal Victorian brick wall is home to these delicate little plants which I call Wall Babies.

The Leeds and Liverpool Canal is a canal in Northern England, linking the cities of Leeds and Liverpool. Over a distance of 127 miles, it crosses the Pennines, and includes 91 locks on the main line

Somehow I never uploaded these before

this lady stands out in Milans Piazza del Duomo with her red bag. I expected the piazza to be much busier but apparently Milan isn't a huge tourist attraction, and most of those who were there chose to be in the shade. Very wise in the heat. We chose the shade at the Aperol Terrazza :))))

A rainy day here today, so I thought I would have some fun with paints in the kitchen!

 

To do this I patiently drop watered down paint through a pipette onto a tile.. timing my shutter as it drops on the tile (or trying) One day I might invest in a proper drop kit.. but, I do quite like the results of the messy ones! And it's fun to do! :o)
