Another Halloween and another collaboration with Gwyn. As usual, I am asked to do a photograph but with little else given, so I show up and suddenly I am chased by a deranged witch, with a knife!

Such are the moments of SL.

I've been coming here for a great many years but I have never ever seen cloud formations light this. From New Years Eve, 2012. Thanks for the look and have a great weekend.

a picture from a collaboration project with cedar_9, who first shot a roll of film with a Brownie camera on locations in Eastbourne and then sent it to me. I used a Voigtländer Bessa camera and shot on locations near Ghent.

This collaboration with Beth was done differently than the ones previous. Instead of going back and forth until we arrived at a single final image, Beth provided the initial starter and then we both expanded on it separately. We are posting at the same time without knowing what each has done with it.

Κατά τύχη είδα σε κάποιο κανάλι ένα αφιέρωμα στον “Μύλο των ξωτικών”

Ακούγοντας την χαζοχαρούμενη διάθεση κάποιου “υπευθύνου” να δηλώνει ότι εφέτος προσδοκούμε να ξεπεράσουμε τον περσινό αριθμό των 1.200.000 επισκεπτών(!!!),μου γεννήθηκαν κάποιες σκέψεις τις οποίες θα μεταφέρω γνωρίζοντας ότι ρίχνω λίγες σταγόνες στον ωκεανό του διαδικτύου:

1)Τελικά είμαστε παντοιοτρόπως ΝΟΥΜΕΡΑ

2) Το περίφημο αυτό “θεματικό” πάρκο τι ΘΕΜΑ έχει;

3) Αν έχει πάντως τα Χριστούγεννα,είναι καταφανώς εκτός θέματος εφόσον τίποτα απολύτως σ’αυτό το καταναλωτικό κιτς συνονθύλευμα δεν έχει την παραμικρή σχέση με την έλευση του Χριστού στον κόσμο μέσα σε άκρα ταπείνωση και φτώχεια.

4) Όλες οι ανά τους αιώνες δικτατορίες την ίδια αλάνθαστη μέθοδο ελέγχου των μαζών

(και όχι βέβαια συνειδητοποιημένων λαών) χρησιμοποιούν: “άρτο και θεάματα”

By chance I saw on a channel a tribute to "The Elf Mill".

Hearing the cheerful disposition of a “manager” to say that this year we expect to surpass last year's 1,200,000 visitors (!!!), I have some thoughts to share that I know will throw a few drops into the internet ocean:

1) Finally we are all numbered

2) What theme does this famous theme park have?

3) If it is Christmas anyway, it is obviously out of the question since nothing in this consumer kit patch has anything to do with Christ's coming into the world in extreme humility and poverty.

4) All dictatorships over the centuries have the unmistakable same method of controlling the masses

(and not of course conscious peoples) use: "bread and spectacles"

How could my day be bad when I'm with you?

You're the only one who makes me laugh

So how can my day be bad?

It's a day for you

Lately, life's so boring

I've been watching Netflix all day long

I thought there would be

No things left to watch

So I let myself out

When I went to the park

I recognised you at a glance

Face to face, we just smiled

We already know that we'll be together (we'll be together)

How could my day be bad when I'm with you?

You're the only one who makes me laugh

So how can my day be bad?

It's a day for you, oh, babe

This title saves me a lot of time, spent on inventing "interesing and humorous" titles.

The reason is that almost every picture includes something which is either opened or can be made opened, f.inst. door, windows, mouth and eyes. :-))))))

This collaboration makes me smile from cheek to cheek!

The very creative Heilah came up with the idea and I loved it!

I am so excited that the sun is making more and more appearances here!!

Heilah's darling sun and background is on top, my sidewalk chalk (thanks Mandi!) sun is on the bottom!
