The lasts steps before the top and I stop to remember. Stories from folks around here are a bit usual, crimes, robbery, like any city. I don't have such a memories, but I wish I could make an exchange.
I was returning home during an afternoon, a clear day, I still was a student. When I was steping down the stairways, I notticed that someone leaves a box with three young cats. They're playing and jumping on the grass. At home, I sleep well at night. However, the weather changes faster and a cold wave comes, suddenly.
During the morning, I had decided to go by the same way and I just remind about the cats when I was walking up the stairways. They were sleeping all together to protect themselfes from the cold. But that fails. Two of them died in the night and the only survivor was under the bodies. It just moves the head to see me, but his eyes can't make focus anymore. And he dies, after. When I saw the youngs by the first, jumping on the high grass, I thought that someone will save them from the streets. When I find the littles ones again in the morning, I undestood that someone should be me. As I said before, I wish I could exchange this story for one of crime and robbery.
