This Stage 3 S4 came to Excelerate Performance for a new coilover setup and ICM delete kit from 034 motorsport.

A view up into the suspension bracket hole. I did mean to clean the welds on the inside of the rear support back, but I got carried away and forgot. Once I get some new powerfile belts, I may still do it.
Those Sachs 1 way coilovers were designed with a simple concept in mind called "flat ride".
Flat Ride was developed as an idea for the chassis to stay neutral during driving while the suspensions would move up and down the stroke.
I believe Sachs' concept was achieved as this company is at the pinnacle of Motorsport.
Those entry level coilovers come equipped with Hyperco 12Kg/mm spring rate, idea for street driving/ spirited driving and the occasional track day.
Labor for installation with alignment cost 39,900 Yen, about $500.

The K&N G35 used to run on KW Variant 3 coilovers. This season they switched to JRZ 3 way coilovers.
Also notice the lower CNC aluminum control arm (made by Fontana Nissan).
Next on the list, they should change the set of brakes with carbon-ceramic disks (from StopTech). Or get a the new StopTech Trophy (much stiffer and lighter) :)
