My favourite cafes around my work (in the city) are closing.
This is only the close one now.
("Cafe Once Upon a Time" near my house is all right.)
Normally they give me coffee in a paper cup (I only order small ones) but on this day, they gave me in a mag.
Not really antique type old place but this cafe is located in the old building, same as Capitol Theatre's complex.
At the moment Theatre is playing Mamma Mia.
* I'm busy and I can't always reply or talk. On my other account, nearly none (if you know what I mean). I am very sorry, I just can't handle. I'll try to reply here if you have something to say.
Coffee in orange, with cinnamon.
Simple and delicious.
I made coffee in a jezva: 5 teaspoons of finely ground coffee, 3 teaspoons of cane sugar and water.
The brewed coffee was poured into an orange "glass" (the pulp was previously removed). Added a cinnamon stick.
And my son wanted a cold drink... I cooled the brewed coffee. I put ice in an orange "glass", poured coffee and a cinnamon stick.
For those who love coffee, if you haven't tried it yet, give it a try.
For today's MM textures I have selected a bag that once contained Blue Mountain coffee from Jamaica. I think I bought it locally though and the coffee did not taste as delicious as when you drink the original Blue Mountain coffee in the hills of Jamaica and listen to Bob Marley.
I added a tiny spoon which looks like it's made from bamboo and ground coffee. What you see here is just under 3"
HMM!

This is the only breed of dog that is officially recognized as specialized in truffle hunting.
Halva is an oriental sweet made from caramel mass whipped with a foaming agent and crushed roasted kernels of nuts, peanuts, oil seeds (sunflower, sesame), with a mass fraction of fat of at least 25%. Halva is also called other types of sugary confectionery.
On the left in the photo, the halva is decorated with edible rice paper butterflies. They are tasteless but look beautiful.
I don't really like halva, it's very sweet :) And I liked it with coffee. I know at least three recipes for coffee with halva. Here is one of them.
ingredients:
ground coffee - 1 teaspoon (I like strong coffee, so there were 3 coffee spoons)
water - 120 ml
halva - 20 - 50 g (I took about 20 g)
milk - 120 ml
Cooking:
Brew coffee (or prepare in a coffee machine).
Mix hot milk with halva and punch with a blender.
Pour into a cup of coffee, add a mixture of halva with milk. And enjoy! You can add whipped cream if you like.
You tell me you don't love me over a cup of coffee
And I just have to look away
A million miles between us
Planets crashing to dust
I just let it fade away
I'm walking empty streets hoping we might meet
I see your car parked on the road
The light on at your window
I know for sure that you're home
But I just have to pass on by

Way down among Brazilians
Coffee beans grow by the billions
So they've got to find those extra cups to fill
They've got an awful lot of coffee in Brazil
