Here I am "directing" again as I call for a second "take" on a previous post. . .I had two versions of this image, and posted the one with a border. . .But after considering a comment from one of the many talented photographers here on Flickr, I had second thoughts about which version was the most interesting. . .So here's my "Take 2" on this shot of one of the planes in the "Tora! Tora! Tora!" presentation at the McConnell AFB Air Show in Wichita on September 9, 2018. . .I do like this version better!

Eight years ago yesterday I had the chance to undertake what would be one of the most difficult air-to-air sorties I've ever attempted.
The challenge, as it transpired, was to shoot the Vampire Preservation Group Vampire T11 from a Cessna 150 with the door still in place! It would be fair to say that the window of opportunity was very small, even when the air brakes were out on the Vampire!
