Avi was our mill expert for the workshop and got everyone's work up and running quickly. His pieces came out beautifully. He has been working with curve milling for Kevin Rotheroe's Material Formation in design this semester.
Usually I grayscale these images, but I liked the glow if the Pro-Lab milling block in this one.

cnc milled foam sculpture that will be used as the base for the resilience sculpture. the surface was created from a heightfield model in rhino. this form will be covered and textured using sculpting epoxy. the work had a four hour build time. Thank you to Bob Delli Bovi for helping to process this job.

La Crepe Parisienne, on Spring St between Lafayette and Mott.
We CNC milled the antique pine boards lining the walls, exposing a figure reclining in a poppy field. We also CNC milled the 'ghosted legs' and seats to complete salvaged antique chair backs.
The weathered pine was salvaged from grain silos upstate.
Designed by Kristjan Donaldson and Andres Mier y Teran.
