I never really had the chance to take many good pictures with rapeseed in bloom since I started photographing trains. This year I made a resolution to take at least a couple of them.
A perfect occasion popped up when the PolRegio depot in Krzyż sent one of their railbusses for repairs. That meant that SU42-513 would be running the passenger trains instead of a railbus for the following weeks.
On 19.05.2025 it was running the morning and noon trains and so I made my way to Chojnice to catch them. The picture shows the regional train ROS 85724 Piła Główna - Chojnice hauled by SU42-513 just a few kilometers from its destination.

Just re-edited this image in order to make a print of it for a friend and thought I would post it.
I did this photo as part of my senior portfolio at the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa. The water lines were photographed as they appear and have not been retouched in any way. :-)

CMYK stands for C yan, M agenta, Y ellow, and B lack
These are the four colors of ink used in the traditional method of printing hardcopies of images, called offset printing. The three colors, plus black, roughly correspond to the primary colors, from which can be mixed colors across the visible spectrum. CMYK is a color mixing system that depends on chemical pigments to achieve the desired hues.

Bness range 0-59 = 25,25,25 (dark grey) opacity 100%
Bness range 26-113 = 201,0,201 (magenta, bness 113) opacity 75%
Bness range 92-173 = 0,194,194 (cyan, bness 173) opacity 75%
Bness range 156-224 = 230,230,0 (yellow, bness 224) opacity 75%
where bness = brightness gamma sRGB calc, values 0-255. All at saturation and darkness value 0%-100%.
