This last year has been the maximum learning for me in my lifetime, and has taken me to the weirdest of places and/but given me the experiences to last me all my lifetimes. My learnings from that all - - Everyone is a cloud, and they will come in your life to give you shade and not just when you need it - they will come in your life like those fleeting clouds which never stop in one place; they just come and go - they will come in your life cloud your vision and brains, until you realise that there was so much more before those clouds even hit you, - they will come in your life and bring rain, and drown you into everything that was all very precious to you - while the rare few will come in your life, with enough openings between them to let the sunshine through and to let that grass glisten in the morning sun, and to give the most beautiful and dramatic sunrises and sunsets of your life. But whoever they are, they will not stay in your life - forever. via 500px ift.tt/2lrUkiU

Carterhall Recreation Ground, Charnock, Gleadless, Sheffield, England, looking NE into Derbyshire and the N ridge of the upper Moss Valley traversed by White Lane. The valley used to be my local birding patch so it's always nice to revisit the area on my trips back up north!

High above the South of England, Kuwaiti Air Force Boeing C-17A Globemaster III 'KAF343', call-sign KAF3202 caught trailing in and out of the high overcast as she heads home from Prestwick.

One of two in operation, she's distinctive from most other 'military' C-17's in having white upper surfaces and tailplane

Cloudy morning in the Alps

A partly cloudy winter day in the summertime village of Westhampton Beach.

The clouds began to roll in off the ocean, with Mount Maitland and Hidden Peak in the background. Taken from the ridge on The Cats Ears.

Looking down the beach towards the big hill in Cabo with all the radio towers on it. I wanted to walk down that way as that is where downtown Cabo is but it was a long walk and I was not to keen on walking around mexico with a big fancy camera just waiting to get mugged.

The Petronas Towers, also known as the Petronas Twin Towers (Malay: Menara Petronas, or Menara Berkembar Petronas) are twin skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. A stormy front swept across the UK last weekend, leading to some very interesting clouds and dramatic sunsets. This was taken from the pavilion at the cricket club I play for.

The cricket season is now drawing to a close; the league games have all finished, the nights are drawing in and only a few friendly games still left.

I play at Golden Hill pretty sporadically, not as often as I'd want. And now due to an irritating shoulder condition, I cannot bowl or throw. So, a bit more useless than I was before.

But they are a brilliant club, very friendly and I've had memorable times playing there. Happy days.
