In spite of the dull cloudy conditions & wet grass from overnight rain, I ventured along the coast this morning for a hoped for sight of the Silver-studded Blue Butterflies. Found some for a few shots so worth the trip despite getting wet feet. Loading 2 open wing shots & an underside where the forewing underside seems to be washed out of colour.

Tried to do the best out of a cloudier sky than I was expecting. so instead of shooting Orion, I did a time lapse and a couple of landscape shots.
Moon was at 45% and I did a little lightpainting for the foreground

Another cloudy sunrise at Diggers Camp, Yuraygir National Park, northern NSW. There was a tiny bit of colour but that was it.
The weather report said, 'Mostly cloudy.' Which was technically accurate, but it seem more like 'Splendid moments of restless sunlight.'
