NYC Media Lab gathered a select group of influencers and thought leaders from across the media, technology, and academic communities to discuss the ways the cloud will affect media in the future. Participants exchanged insights and analyses ranging from current challenges such as usage rights and privacy to new possibilities afforded by low barriers to entry and elastic capacity. New operating system build especially for net books by Netvibes Founder Tariq Krim.
Looks cool and its supposedly up and running on Atom CPUs. I bet they are finding all sorts of challenges with the GUI since so many net books have such small screens.
