Cloudbase was on the low side today, but I still enjoyed the trip. On most north days we can get over three grand above Kaaawa.
Cloudbase at Makapuu was low, about 1400. Jeff jumped to Koko Crater from there, and Jorge jumped from even lower, and they reported nice easterly flow over there, so I was eager to follow.

I took this shot from the sky, as we approached the bottom of the clouds (cloudbase). There was strong lift for soaring, and rain showers to avoid. It was real cowboy air. Yeehaa!
