A warm and woodsy patchwork quilt created with an assortment of ORGANIC designer fabrics from Birch Fabrics and Cloud 9 Fabrics. Backed with earthy prints by Lotta Jansdotter to continue the woodsy theme. Machine quilted by me in a random meandering pattern with Aurifil cotton thread. Measures 44" x 50".

Backed with Kona Cotton in white and a strip of matching patchwork. Bound with a soft grey Lotta Jansdotter print from her Mormor collecton. Batting is cotton Warm and White. Machine quilted by me in random meandering pattern. Measures 27" x 35".

I could NOT resist Fashion Force Imogen's outfit. *_* I think I bought her like, the day after the convention... Should've waited, but oh well. I love 90s fashion. The texture of the dress is a little gross in person, but I still love the concept.

毎年一番最初に見るのは、伊勢原の花火。湘南から10キロほどだからきっと花火の音はこの海辺の町にも届いているんだろうな。この花火が終わると早足で夏が来る気がする。

Boldly my daughter and I are painting over this room's old prissy wallpaper. We both love turquoise and this paint was inspired by the parlor in Miss Fisher's Murder Mystery series.

もうすぐ富士山は店じまいとなる。富士山に登ったのは3年前のこと。あの時は二度とトライすることはないと思っていたが、五合目から頂上を見上げていると、あの日てっぺんから駿河湾を見た時の感動が蘇ってきて、もう一度ぐらい登ってみてもいいかなという気持ちになる。いつも新しい発見をしたいという気持ちは歳をとっても変わらない。
