I didn't have the time to set this shot up how I'd like. If I had, I would have used a different lens and probably cut out the sun and the clouds that make the shot. Sometimes things turn out well by accident.

* My first shot to 70, 80, 90, and 100 faves

I put my data in the cloud and now all I can do is stare at the sky.

This is a shot I took specifically for Window Wednesdays. This Ontario government building is on Grosvenor Street. It’s not my favourite building from an architectural standpoint, but the very reflective windows can make it more interesting.

Kirkjufell, Iceland -

Proabably one of the most photographed mountains on Earth, this is a closeup of Kirkjufell, when the Sun broke through the clouds in Iceland.

ISS049e006632 (09/18/2016) --- Multi-hued clouds are seen from approximately 250 miles overhead on the International Space Station.

This is just one view from the home of my son and daughter-in-law in Alaska.

I like how black and white increases the impact of clouds. This version was made with the use of an orange filter in post-processing.

I think it's much better if you View On Black

At Formby beach last winter

Not mammatus, just strangely shaped and lit so beautifully by the setting sun.

Antes de la tormenta el cielo lucia espectacular para despues tornarse en un domingo lleno de frio y lluvias.

Heading for Dunedin for the night April 25, 2016 in the South Island of New Zealand.

This view is looking towards Moeraki Village. Moeraki is a small and sleepy fishing village on the south-east coast of the South Island, nestled under a peninsula with a rare north-facing outlook over the rest of the coast.

Meaning 'sleepy sky', or 'a place to rest by day', Moeraki maintains the feel of this old Maori resting place; the village hugs a quiet, golden-crescent beach and fishing boats scatter the bay, providing the area with an abundance of the freshest seafood. Enjoy watching the boats come and go from the famous Fleur's Place restaurant, or head to the Moeraki Lighthouse to spy on yellow eyed penguins.

Have a wonderful week ahead friends :-)

Monday eve's clouds were so beautiful I had to pull over and do a pano of them! However, despite the gorgeous Cumulonimbus and anvils, we didn't have so much as a rumble! Too far away!
