Flying past a line of thunderstorms I caught a glimpse through a gap between two cumulonimbus storms. Their anvil tops had merged together above me making this window through to clearer skies beyond.

I call this "crazy clouds", because I had not seen anything quite like them before. I love clouds, and am always looking up to see if I can see some really unique ones. This was at Vasona Lake.

Wanted to shoot the skyline again at night, but it was more of clouds and lightning show after it got dark. I tried to get lightning but couldn't. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

leading edge seen on left. turned out we never got a drop of rain. And we are under drought conditions right now.

This was sent to the local TV weather report in honor of my father who passed away July 16 this year. He and I used to sit for hours and watch the clouds float by on a summer's day.
