Wispy clouds drifting over Breiðafjörður in W-Iceland, whose islands and skerries are traditionally said to be too many to count (modern science says they are about 2,800 that have some dry land even at high tide).

Clouds over the field this afternoon, and the Church next door.
We were decending through the cloud layer, the setting sun fell behind the clouds but the reflection was still strong on the ocean so I snapped this shot.
It's actually sharp enough to make out details of Downtown Del Mar, California. (may need to view large)

Clouds forming round the Matterhorn, which they seemed to do every day in the early afternoon during our visit to Zermatt in 2007.
A lovely Saturday afternoon walk through the clouds. I love it out here when the weather is like this - it's like walking through a dream. Visibility was very low - only a dozen or so metres. It was a lovely cool change from the hot weather we've been having lately.
Gray, purple, pink, orange, sure, but brown?
