I'd been wanting to do a Star Wars helmet for a while. I love the Episode 3 style helmet that bridges the gap between the clone helmet and the stormtrooper helmet. I liked the idea of something different rather than screen accurate so I started with the Gree helmet and as I thought about the green, I started to think about my favorite aviation theme, The Flying Tigers. So the Gree-Flying-Tiger-Woodland-Camouflage-Clone helmet was born.

These are hand painted clone troops from Star Wars Risk. They are the size of a penny and took lots of steady hand work. Getting them identicle was difficult.
I'm aware that this clone commander was never given a name nor was he ever seen in the films but Commander Gree was and he was green. So I'm assuming he got promoted and received a new uniform. Ok?
