My first attempt at cloning. Again, lessons learned were too numerous to mention... Still, it's a good first attempt?
The historic town of Clones developed around a monastery founded by St. Tighernach in the 6th century. His remains are said to rest in the Shrine of St. Tighernach, which is carved in the shape of a house from a single stone. There are several interesting archaeological sites in the town which bear testament to its ecclesiastical past.
A High Cross situated on the diamond (centre of town), belongs to the Ulster group of scripture crosses, and dates from the 9th or 10th century. The panels on the front and back illustrate scenes from the Scriptures and the New Testament.
Clones round tower is situated in the graveyard and was built in the 10th century. The tower was originally much higher but the conical cap and top storey collapsed some time between 1591 and 1739.
St. Peter and Paul's Abbey, known locally as the 'wee Abbey', is located nearby and dates from the 12th century. The church is Romanesque in style and is evidence of the Roman church in Clones. The Protestant Reformation led to the suppression of the monasteries in the 16th century and the monastic settlement at Clones was destroyed.
Wearing a green pant suit from my child hood collection. She has a lightweight straight legged plastic body and ridges on her feet.
Deeply tan, one might say, orange girls. I'm going to go one day over. Tomorrow is the last Clone Month day. I'll take requests, if anybody wants to see some girl again.

4/27/09: I thought I'd give a try with cloning today. The inspiration just came to me this afternoon as I was walking my house trying to find stuff to take a picture of. It's not the best quality photo, but I don't think the clones turned out too bad!
Today's Random Fact: I hate to cook. Well I don't hate to cook, I am actually pretty good at cooking. I just don't really enjoy the cleanup afterward. Actually, about 15 min after I shot this the hubby and I went out for dinner. lol.

This is another clone shot from the time my family went shooting at the Durham County Wildlife Club (DCWC) near our house. In a round of trap shooting, the game my brother is practicing, the player will take a series of five shots at five different discs (called pigeons or birds) from each of the five stations. This gives me plenty of chances to get a shot of the smoke and powder coming out of the barrel after a shot is fired.
Shot with a tripod mounted Nikon D60 with an 18-55mm lens set at 18mm. Programmed auto mode. Images compiled and edited in Photoshop 7.0.
I love to hear what you think!
P.S. Over 600 photostream views! Woooo!
