U-head couple, these came together and maybe have been sold together - like a bride and bride´s maid.
Other one has movin hips and other has stationary, otherwise similar.
The lighblue dress is factorymade although I thought it isnt: I had one before and I thought its home made but then I got this...
Wedding gown is factorymade too.
A squad of republic troops conducts a presence patrol on an occupied separatist colony
got a whole squad's worth of these figures off ebay, it's a rare opportunity for me to have this many figures that go together with each other too bad they're not 1/6 scale
In this photo I used the clone stamp tool in Photoshop to get rid of the ball. I cloned some of the grass that is around the ball and is almost the same colour. And then I stamped it on top of the ball until it looked as if there is no ball.
413 Put your pants back on.
111 But I don't wanna how come that guy gets special armor.
999 ....
413 You are a stormtrooper not a teenage girl who needs to feel unique.
111 Hmpf i hate you 413 I'm never going to talk to you again.
Fairly straightforward clone job.
Camera set up: Tripod, remote, and set to Av... I did that in an attempt to mitigate any variations resulting from the auto focus. Un-fortunately, I set the aperature too low as the sutter speed was slow enough that many of the shots I took had considerable motion blur. I'm thinking that perhaps I should've opened it up a little more. A better flash than the built-in would've been good too. Perhaps if I could've bounced light off the ceiling, the shadows I projected wouldn't have been an issue.
This image was from three different pictures. One of just the room, and one each (obviously) of the different poses. Each figure was then selected, along with their shadows. To do the selection:
-Do a rough select around the object using the free-select too.
-Toggle quick mask on shift-q
-using the paint brush, paint with black (will show up red) all the areas you don't want to select
-once you're done, toggle quick mask off (shift-q). This should leave you with the area you want to have selected.
-In this case, I feathered the selection (Select>Feather... choose amount in pixels)
-copy, paste, choose layer>New Layer, and the recently pasted image will be its own layer.
After both figures were placed on the blank background, I checked around the edges to see if anything that got copied wasn't lining up. There were a few cases where the pillows got jostled, so i used a combo of heal and clone tool to fix. These fixes are obvious upon close inspection. A better alternative would've been to extend the selection from the 'figure image' until it matched the background image. I couldn't do that in this case because the lighting was too different. The solution to that issue would be to figure out how to take pictures where the lighting doesn't vary so dramatically, or make them match in gimp.
Then I just merged the layers, played around with levels and curves. After that, in an attempt to gloss over some of the remaining discrepencies in lighting, I copied the layer, made it b&w (desaturate), and changed the mode to 'hard light'.
I'm doing a few of these from different poses, if you want to check my photostream.
If you have any suggestions on how this could've been done better, I'd love to hear them in comments.
this is not my own design, instructions here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVUvEVXLykM&feature=BFa&l... (not from me)
Yesterday I was at the Queen Victoria Market and I found a stall selling the knockoff Frozen two set for $10 so I bought it cuz I kinda need more pale male bodies and this is good enough for me lol.
Today while grocery shopping I saw there was a $2 section in Coles and found this inset eye Kurhn clone for $2. It was so cheaply made but I’ve been hankering for another Kurhn sculpt to customize. Her head is super squishy so I’m planning on acetone shrinking her head to firm it up and hopefully make her features seem a tad more defined. I’m hoping to then make her look like a BJD style face up and yeah.
Clone Commander involved in the attack, if I make this a story I'll come up with a name for him.

A monastery was founded here in Clones By St Tighernagh (Tierney) during the 6th century. All that remains here now is his tomb shrine which is said to mark the spot where he is buried and a round tower. A High Cross that would have stood in the monastic enclosure has been moved to the main square in Clones Town.
