What can I say? I an having a ball cutting up all my old books and giving them a new life as art! Clockwork Orange was the perfect piece to finally use that old clock face and spring.
An experiment for my typology task at college. I was thinking of what objects I have in the house and my brother used to collect pocket watches!

Sometimes our vintage clocks come to us in non-working condition. The wires coming out of the 1960s "Diamond" brand clock from China just trail off to nowhere. The little metal flaps that are meant to flip over and tell us what day is is are failing to flip or flap, and the clock is a flop. Then we call in the big guns.
She still has her wind-up key in, but I didn't get a side or back view picture.
Also, she made that awesome skirt she's wearing.

These are made from cast plastic.

Create a cinematic steampunk portrait of a mysterious guitarist dressed in deep burgundy leather adorned with brass gears, rotating clockwork plates, and illuminated mechanisms. His electric guitar is embedded with glowing cogs and tungsten-lit dials. He wears an extravagant tall top hat decorated with gears, lenses, and mechanical ornaments. Smoky warm lighting and ornate Victorian floral décor surround him, evoking a stage frozen between eras. His expression is calm yet electric—like a time-traveler ready to awaken an audience with industrial-powered music.
As I was in Glasgow the other day, I thought I'd finish off the 'Underneath' theme with a picture of one of only 2 subway systems in the UK outside London (the other is the Tyne & Wear Metro, which I've never been on). It runs in a circle and only has two lines - Inner Circle and Outer Circle (i.e. one clockwise, one anti-clockwise). I like it.
