Guess who's back!?
Hey guys, just new sculpture from me. It's one of the my favorite heroes 'Clockwerk', from Dota2. Made some changes from original model, cuz don't have "right" pieces. So check it out, hope you'll like it)
101 - Our Daily Challenge - "Book Title":
A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess. Have not personally read this one. Not sure I will after reading the description...the first thing it says is "dismal". Pass.
I had trouble getting the orange carved neatly and my watch looks a little worn in close up. lol. Chose this one only because it seemed a little more unique. Looks better on black!

The insides for a Grandfather clock. This particular clock belonged to my grandfather who built it from a kit with my dad. My mom wouldn't let my dad have it, so I ended up with it.
The clock is from Kuempel Clock Works which was located in Minnetonka Minnesota from 1916-2008, which specialized in grandfather clocks, with a number of do it yourself kits available.
Sized at 3840x1080 for dual monitor wallpaper.

Every night at 6:20 +/- 2 minutes he departs the hole for his perch across the path (each night around this time i get an empty frame of tree cavity). He sits, collects his thoughts for a few minutes, dumps the ballast and disappears into the night.

Lighting Info: (1) speedlight with 24" gridded softbox on camera right; (1) speedlight behind the droog pointed straight at the ceiling; (2) speedlights on the ground, one pointed at the right wall and the other on the left wall. Triggered by Pocket Wizard and the flashes on the ground were set on optical.

The norwegian cellist Truls Mork is one of the best in his generation. At present, Mørk is large in the international concert scene. His extensive discography spans from a Grammy-award-winning recording of the Shostakovich Cello Concertos to a critically acclaimed[citation needed] recording of Bach's Suites for Solo Cello. Mørk's passionate interest in chamber music led to the foundation of the International Chamber Music Festival of Stavanger (my home town).
In Prokofievs music I think you can hear the movement of time, like in clockwork, and often the sound of trains moving along the rails....the sound of the modern society developing. He was very interested in trains and railways and used to read timetables.
The late 70's rolling stock on the Glasgow Subway is shortly to be replaced. This is West Street station, the quietest on the system, still retaining the single central platform. Busier stations have been converted to to double platforms.
There are many sculptures around the Grizedale area but it is still disconcerting to find a clockwork key in a tree. Children love them, when turned they play a tune.
