Dandelion - aigrettes

This photograph is one of the most appealing pics of my collection. It was more than a wonder to see the sheep at the height of over 10000 feet.

Earlier uploaded the said subject with a different angle. have a look on this Photo

It is a first for us to have observed and photographed this superb Gray Catbird who was passing by momentarily and feasting on a fresh burst of flying ants on my patio and in the flower garden.

Here a image taken at the end of the afternoon Handheld in the shade with the 300mm.

I am very less active on Flickr lately and will be for the rest of the 2020 summer, I still take time to look at your gorgeous picture and comment some time.

This beautiful reef pine on the right side should be pretty well known by now to all locals and anyone who has known me for a while anyway. It is my favorite tree on mount small Winterberg in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. And my most photographed tree of all time.

In the classic composition, which I am not the only one to use here, it usually seems as if the tree is standing lonely and alone up here on the rock.

Today I would like to show that this is not the case. As you can see, some younger specimens have settled here over the years, including a birch tree. Two more, shortly before, unfortunately didn't manage to settle in here.

I was particularly impressed by the youngest of these latecomers. With the central rock in the middle, he picked a pretty challenging spot.

I really hope that he manages to develop there. With this location it definitely has the chance to be included in the ranks of the pine celebrities of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains.

The chickens at Wright-Locke Farm have been staying inside during the recent spell of cold and inclement weather. The gather in the same groups, and have preferred roosting spots. I gave them some of the fancy broccoli that appeared in yesterday's macro photo.

Dolls in the day, Queens at night! I was downtown walking late at night, when this "scene" caught my eye. I'm not into fashion, but could not resist the light reflections, the colors and even the ... attitude! Decided a click was in order. Had to ... Click the Clique!!! :-)

Hoodoos rise from the valley floor in Goblin Valley State Park, Utah.

From L: Kiyoshi, Mariko, Midori, Akira (who loves any excuse to cosplay Jiro Horikoshi) and in front, Umi, who seemed to be daydreaming the entire time, lol!

Midori's sweet-Sally hair bow is by the darling Mab Graves. Midori and Umi's necklaces and Mariko's bracelet were gifts from my wonderful friend Kathy and, horror of horrors, I didn't notice that Umi's necklace had shifted until I went to edit and, unfortunately, you can't see it here or in any of the others I took! :/ I specifically remember arranging it so meticulously, but it must of happened when she almost fell over. >< I promise to get more up-close photos of all the pieces in subsequent shoots, Kathy!
