I did a shoot with Christina over the weekend and I'm pleased with my results. Despite the weather reports, we got cloudy skies which is exactly what we were hoping for. The goal was to go for an outdoor, airy feel, which puts you at the mercy of the weather gods.
While chatting with her, I found out a few interesting facts. She's a black belt and plays WoW. She also does cosplay for stuff like BlizzCon, which I'm hoping to photograph in the future :). Based on what I've heard/seen, the level detail is pretty intense. More pictures of Christina to follow.

Sophina d'Hecate and Paul Starchild
Cupid found Sophina and Paul enjoying a moment of leisure with friends and, taking advantage of Paul's distaste for the music playing and her sense of humor, aimed and fired his arrows. From that day on they shared a connection that slowly blossomed into a beautiful love. Not all was easy as they had to overcome adversity and learn each others ways but the best things never are easy, they are special. They persisted and love ever growing was their reward. The time had now come for them to become a wedded couple.
In the magnificent mystical setting of the gardens of You Made Me Believe in Magic, both lovers, surrounded by their party and their closest friends and family, stood before the officiant, Kulaan D. Dragon, they then listened to his words of wisdom regarding the significance of that day and of their life going forward. They exchanged their deeply personal vows and exchanged the rings that symbolize the perfect circle of love and commitment. The officiant then invoked the powers of the elements and of mother nature, bound the couple's hands together and pronounced them as Husband and Wife.
Once the ceremony ended, the newlyweds led their guests to the reception where Dj Stonn welcomed the couple and invited them to their first dance with the sounds of "This will be our year" by the Zombies. Soon after the others joined them on the floor and there was laughter and joy all around, toasts to the newlyweds and their future and all manner of expressions of love.
The finest moments of this unforgettable day were captured in beautiful photos taken by the talented Lillian Starlight.

On Saturday, I did a client shoot for Carlie and Dan who were engaged recently. In fact, Dan proposed to Carlie the same day my camera broke. And by luck, I ran into them in South Denver that same day.
Originally, this shoot was planned for Copeland Lake which is in the Wild Basin area, but reports of snow canceled that idea. Instead, we shot at NCAR which overlooks all of Boulder.

I ve done the shooting with Linn and Clyde, and well...Clyde wasnt able to save himself. The lion was faster ;)
It seems that Clyde was yummy....look how happy "Teddy" the lion looks.

A little while back, a college buddy of mine, Aaron, asked me to shoot his engagement photos. I happily agreed. Aaron and his fiancée, Bridget, will be wed next year in Las Vegas. He proposed at the Red Rocks amphitheater so it was fitting to take their engagement photos there. More to upload in the coming days.
