Whole lot of driving last couple days, catch up as I can.
And no internet Y-day. Best viewed Large.
Headed in to Kamiah, Idaho for breakfast, and traveled along the Clearwater River. Forgot my real camera, so had to take this with the cell.
This bridge extends from Clearwater, Florida toward Clearwater Beach. I’ve wanted to photograph this for some time and finally had a chance to be under the bridge a few weeks ago while visiting the adjacent marina. The curves and construction are fantastic.
I've seen some pretty amazing sunsets over the years but none as spectacular as I saw in Clearwater, Florida.
I hope to return one day for another attempt to capture nature's true beauty.
Clearwater Beach is made of pure white sand that was soft as flour and never got hot on my feet. The shoreline was made of tiny little shells.
Clearwater Falls, along the Clearwater River, in the lush green Umpqua National Forest of Oregon's south-central Cascade Range. It was nice to make it back here this summer after being away for a few years.
The Clearwater River seeps into and out of the ground in the area, making this waterfall partially spring fed. At times the waterfall appears to flow from the ground.
CSX 6534 and 7500 lead train L791 down the middle of South East Avenue in Clearwater, FL on the last day of 2024.
This day started off very gloomy, with rain and cloud cover over the S-line. I went out for B241 with a pair of former Citi Rail locomotives and followed them to Tampa. While in Tampa, the weather turned for the worst at the same time L791 was leaving Yeoman yard in Tampa for Clearwater. About an hour after leaving Yeoman, I find myself here in Clearwater shooting L791 down the street running section for the first time under nearly cloudless skies. It's crazy to think less than an hour before, this train was passing through a heavy downpour. That's Florida for you though! Overall, not a bad way to end 2024.
Sunset at Clearwater Beach, FL!! Enjoy God's handiwork!! Remember to love your neighbor, encourage, and comfort, for a day will come when we all will need others, and never forget God loves you!!!

Clearwater Park, Middle Fork Willamette River, Springfield Oregon...
There's still some debate on why suliformes, like this Double Crested Cormorant rest on shore with wings spread. Drying feathers? Thermoregulation? What's your take?
Its an annual pilgrimage to this viewpoint for my husband and I. The view of the Clearwater Region never disappoints.
I was there to take a picture of my Son’s last flight in a C-130. He’s transitioning to flying a different aircraft. The C-130 is from Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater, Florida.
