After the NSDAP came to power in 1933, a sweeping purge of teachers occurred to align the education system with National Socialist ideology. The Law for the Restoration of the Professional Civil Service, enacted in April 1933, mandated the dismissal of Jewish teachers and those with "undesirable" political beliefs, such as communists. This led to the immediate removal of thousands of educators, fundamentally reshaping the teaching workforce.

Teachers were required to join the National Socialist Teachers League (NSLB), and by 1936, over 97% of teachers were members.

This is an empty classroom in a school in Freetown, Sierra Leone. The school had been empty for a few months due to the 'stay at home' policy enforced to minimise the risk of spreading Ebola. This was taken a few weeks before the children were allowed to return to school.

The State University of New York - College at Geneseo, also known as SUNY Geneseo, Geneseo State or, colloquially, "Geneseo", is a College in the State University of New York (SUNY) system located in Geneseo, Livingston County, New York, United States.

The Integrated Science Facility is a 102,000 square foot addition to Greene Hall. The Integrated Science Facility houses new facilities for the departments of Biology and Geology with new teaching facilities of classrooms and laboratories.
