WM 7471 leads the 5pm NPE northbound trip from Owosso to Ashley. Blinding snow and bitter cold made for a long but well worth wait. SRI is leasing 7471 and 57 from PNLX for the season while PM 1225 gets some fresh wheel work.

In a view that could go back well before the photo date of 2009 a total of seven Montana Rail Link old school locomotives are seen stabled around the turntable in Missoula yard.

1971 built 259 SD40-2XR is seen face on with a pair of GP9's to the left and pair of SD-45's to the right. MRL 259 is thankfully still in service for MRL, albeit MRL has recently been acquired by BNSF.

Well off and running for the day........catch you when I return.

This church was built in the 1930's and fits in perfectly with the surrounding architecture of the Santa Barbara area.

Managed to snap an image of this classic American car in a local supermarket parking lot recently.

Didn't get a chance to identify it, seems to be a custom rebuild.

Any car buffs out there?
