Hey everybody, look at me! I'm a shark!
Not really, just a class-clown sea lion sense of humor. Moss Landing, just north of Monterey, California.

This is my 16th year covering this fun festival filled with color and pageantry and beautiful people. Each year some of the regulars return and sometimes fresh new faces appear to join the eclectic Renaissance Family. Some are vendors or employees, and some customers dress up to fit in with the renaissance festival fun and its 16th century way of life. One big happy family of a few thousand escaping the dull drums of their daily life for a few hours. This year's crop of new faces was lovely. Hope you enjoy the images. I try to capture their joy. Always fun, festive, very colorful and exciting!

This Chinese boy's English name is Harry Potter. He called himself that because of his glasses. He was the most manipulative of my 240 students when I was teaching in China.

It’s amazing what 100 days can bring! Where did the time go? It just seems like yesterday when day 1 started, yet it seems so long too…
I was inspired from multiple sources to do this picture. I did it since school is back in now for everyone I know of here in the US. Knowing the levels of enjoyment everyone got from my silly Taco Bell picture, I decided to make another silly pic for you, my friends. Thanks to everyone for partaking in this journey with me and sharing your experiences as well. Another inspiration was and is my beloved girlfriend, the incomparable aravis121, who pleaded with me to join flickr and shortly after asked if I would like to be in the 365Days project. I’m glad she did, as she will always factor into my equations.

Denali clowning around as I'm trying to get some video of her movement..... Last night my videographer continued to record video without stopping between dogs. The result was my teaching myself how to split the video clips then it snowballed into a full blown self-taught editing session.... Its ROUGH. The music is sample music.

this is ashley and brian...I dident actualy use this photo in the yearbook...but it is my favorite...i love how brian is actualy throughing the plane...he was so into that plane
I watched Manny come up on Casey and do the old "knee in the back of your knee" trick to make Casey lose his balance. Then Manny giggled and ran off. I was giggling too much myself to take a really nice photo - I'm happy I got this much!
