Ventured into town last week, had to grab a shot of the iconic view from Calton Hill over Edinburgh on to Princes Street with the Balmoral clock. As much as I hate the hustle and bustle of the city I do love it, such a beautiful place.xx
Another view of Mumbai - this time an image facing east towards the mainland - inspired by (or perhaps horrified by) blade runner 2049 when creating the final product.
West Carroll Avenue, Chicago, Illinois. Strange little street in the middle of River North where pedestrians are prohibited. Carroll Avenue continues underground for a few blocks and disappears from maps like an underground river.
Skyline of my hometown in the north of Germany, also knwon as the city with the 7 church towers. In the foreground, the Wakenitz River.
I visited St Petersburg last weekend. That town is so beautiful and there is so much to see. On of the most famous attractions is the Church of the Savior on Blood. It looks amazing even though it is being renovated now.
So it's Sydney harbour, photographed from a courtyard on the corner of Harbourview Street and Lavender Street, at Lavender Bay.
Just near the Kirribilli Club and Wendy's Secret Garden.
And this photograph was taken in Autumn. My favourite season!! And, of-course, it is now Autumn in Sydney with its mercifully cooler temperatures.
And there is also the promise of winter with its glorious sunny weather and nice cold days of 21 degrees celsius. Such a magical relief from the oppression of summer.
I have used my zoom lens (the dodgy non IS one, lol) so you can zoom in to see the wharves at Walsh Bay, and all the people at Observatory Hill Park waiting to catch the sunset.

Photographed from the Sirius Point Lookout, aka Little Sirius Point, at Sirius Cove, Mosman.
Directly across the harbour is the Cremorne Point Reserve with Robertsons Point Lighthouse to the left with its famous green light. Beyond is the city.

Where the harbour meets the river.
Waverton, Sydney.
Looking south-east across Sydney Harbour from the seclusion of the rainforest at Balls Head Reserve, Waverton. In this rainforest you are surrounded by King Parrots and Rainbow Lorikeets. There are sandstone rock ledges that overhang the harbour, from where you can take your photographs.
So here's the awesome Rick Braun, arguably the world's greatest trumpeter, with the smooth vocals of Elliot Yamin, performing the Al Green song 'Take Me To The River':
