this is how my city looks like at night
Unfortunately, I didn't have a tripod with me, so the photo has a lot of grain.
The Chicago city skyline from Grant Park just before sunrise... but what... too many clouds for a sunrise to be seen. How unfair is that???

When I was young I'd listen to the radio Waitin' for my favorite songs Waiting they played I'd sing along It made me smile Those were such happy times And not so long ago How I wondered where they'd gone But they're back again Just like a long lost friend All the songs I loved so well (*) every sha-la-la-la Every wo-wo-wo Still shines Every shing-a-ling-a-ling That they're starting to sing's So fine

It's not very difficult to come up with postcard images in Prague. The views are literally on every step. I took this one from the castle walls of Vysehrad, across the river, just as the dusk started to settle in over this beautiful city.
Another shot from last year's visit to City Hall in London during the Open House weekend.
I've posted most of my favourite shots from here but digging in the archives I discovered this crazy composition looking down its helical staircase.
I love photographing this building, and hopefully, this year's Open House event will still take place so I can revisit and see what else I can come up with!
Sandomierz: historic town in south-eastern Poland.
It was a royal city of the Polish Crown and functioned as a regional administrative centre from the High Middle Ages to the 19th century.
Sandomierz is one of the oldest and historically most significant cities in Poland.
The first known historical mention of the city comes from the early 12th-century, when the chronicler Gallus Anonymus ranked it together with Kraków and Wrocław as one of the main cities of Poland.

Small boat and there is nobody on the boat. This is your boat. You own that boat. Open the windows. Tell the captain to sit down and shut up. Sho'nuff: "What? Why don't I sit down and what?". Yeah, sit down and shut up. Snap away, get that glow. Thank me in the morning.
