Frankfurt bei Nacht (Blick vom Maintower) - Frankfurt at night (View from the the Main Tower)
Bedauerlicher Weise war es an dem Tag extrem windig, so dass ich nur mit großer Blende halbwegs wackelfreie Bilder hinbekommen habe. - Unfortunataly it was extremly windy that day. So had to use a high aperture to get a not to much blurred photograph.

The night view at Caretta Shiodome 46F restaurant, It's a shopping mall near the Shiodome station.
It has been one year with my Pentax K-5 II already, the year I've opened and finished on the banks of The Thames in London.
Der Turning Torso („Drehender Rumpf“) ist ein vom spanischen Architekten Santiago Calatrava im Stil des Dekonstruktivismus erbautes Hochhaus in der schwedischen Stadt Malmö. Mit einer Höhe von 190 Metern und 54 Etagen ist das Gebäude der höchste Wolkenkratzer Skandinaviens und das dritthöchste Wohngebäude Europas. Es wurde am 27. August 2005 eingeweiht. Das Gebäude gilt seither neben der Öresundbrücke als das neue Wahrzeichen von Malmö.
Der Turning Torso steht in Västra Hamnen, dem westlichen Hafengebiet von Malmö, in unmittelbarer Nähe des Öresunds.
The Turning Torso is a skyscraper built in the Swedish city of Malmö by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava in the style of deconstructivism. With a height of 190 meters and 54 floors, the building is the tallest skyscraper in Scandinavia and the third tallest residential building in Europe. It was inaugurated on August 27, 2005. The building is now considered the new landmark of Malmö, next to the Öresund Bridge.
The Turning Torso is located in Västra Hamnen, the western harbor area of Malmö, in the immediate vicinity of Öresund.

This photo was taken from "The Press Lounge", located at the roof top of the Ink48 Hotel on 11th Avenue and 48th Street. I was very impressed with the view of the city. It was taken with a small Sony RX100 M2. Be aware, tripods are not allowed.....

Have just returned from incredible China. Here's Shanghai, the city that impresses much. Of course, it looks futuristic and powerful. But I'm not sure if I like such a future.

The Chicago city skyline from Grant Park just before sunrise... but what... too many clouds for a sunrise to be seen. How unfair is that???
Singapore

Over the past few weeks, some have asked me if I am based in the US. No, I am not. I am a Singaporean and I live in Singapore. Here's a cityscape capture of Singapore :)
