Waterlily detail, filled with water, floating on water. I've seen images of this kind of lily, but was still astounded at how vibrant the colors are in person when I saw one for the first time live in a botanical garden in Maui.
Explored at #60 on 8-29-11.
The awesome location of Castlerigg stone circle close to Keswick in the lake district.
A location that provides a spectacular vista to see some of the most majestic fells in the lake district.
I chose this lesser used viewpoint with Blencathra as a backdrop mainly because the dawn clouds were being lit up beautifully by the soon to be rising Sun and of course the clouds seem to mirror the shape of the mountain wonderfully.
I have to admit this was supposed to be my orignal upload tonight but it seemed to go walkabout in the Flickr upload system, so I uploaded the Derwent dawn shot instead, then all of a sudden this shot appears..
So I don't normally upload a couple on the same day, I will leave both on seeing that friends have made the effort to fav/comment.

Bright sunlight drew my attention to the circle forms of this pressure pad on the chrome leg of a glass top table.
A student assiduously studying in a marvelously designed study nook sporting a wooden wall with glowing circles and dots at the Queensland State LIbrary.
Looking through my camera equipment, the fisheye lens was an immediate match with this week’s theme - circles.
Looks almost like a sun, but it's only an egg in the glass ;)
