Today I made a GPS satellite and an Earth. Tomorrow I will put them together and add the sun and the moon.

an experimental 3D design and render I did back in 2002, found the .c4d file yesterday and re-rendered it. rendered with Maxon Cinema4D R14s internal renderer, with a low resolution HDR as an environment map along with a volumetric spot light for the rays. Nothing very fancy, it was fun when I did it.

Hi guys!

Just some pieces of my homework from the @element.edition course.

My goal was to quickly create a variety of environments with different feel, lighting and colors, using only standard tools of 3d software. This technique allows quickly generate thousands of ideas and moods even without using Photoshop, bashing, or any other tools.
