After I have finished my surprisingly successful "hamburg facades" series, this photo gives a short break, before I will start my next series of photos I took in the harbour of Hamburg.

Square crop and colour re-edit of an old street shot captured in February 2014 on my first digital SLR, the Canon 400D. I started my street photography journey in May of 2013 so had not been shooting street for a full year at this point. It's really painful to have missed a year and a half of street photography thanks to the pandemic but seeing how far my journey had progressed offers a little warmth. There are certainly far fewer 'analogue' smokers on the streets of Glasgow these days, replaced and augmented by vapers.

Not exactly sure where this came from but really have no use for it. It is shaped like a globe that pulls open from the top. It would have at one time contained cigarettes in each of the sleeves.
