A previously unpublished shot from January 2020.
In keeping with the season, I've been posting quite a few images with autumnal tones lately, so it seemed time to break it up with a shot featuring some brighter colors. It's a summer scene from the 2019 Oakland County Fair in Davisburg, Michigan. And there are a couple of benches in the image too, so I'm calling it a Bench Monday shot. :-)

It's my first attempt at an interweaved strips technique. My choice of subject may not have been the best...I think maybe the image should have had more going on...but it was fun to do despite being a bit tedious, and I'm happy with the result.
Thanks to Flickr contact Steven Hromnak for the inspiration. He is a master at the weave technique, and recently provided a link to a how-to tutorial with one of his images. You can check out his incredibly cool and complex double-weave image here: www.flickr.com/photos/gaphiker/49800945368/in/dateposted/

Your life is a result of the choices you make… if you don’t like your life it is time to start making better choices.
You just can't live that negative way. You know what I mean. Make way for the positive day. Cause it's a new day... -

The universe does not know whether the vibration that you're offering is because of something you're observing or something you're remembering or something that you are imagining. It just receives the vibration and answers it with things that match it.” -
Abraham Hicks
The words we choose to use when we communicate with each other, carry vibrations. The word ‘war’ carries a whole different vibration than the word ‘peace’. The words we use are showing how we think and how we feel. The careful selection of words, helps to elevate our consciousness and resonate in higher frequencies. -

A no has a different frequency than a yes, and a maybe is all vibration, oscillating between no and yes. My favorite answers have no movement.” -

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! xo💜💜
There was plenty of choice for this week's macro mondays with the whole year of themes on offer. I meant to try one of the themes I've missed this year, but got sidetracked by this pretty little perfume bottle top and its possibilities as a vase, so decided to go with 'bottle cap'.
Thanks to my neighbours for letting me take these tiny blossoms from a bush in their garden!
“Attitude is a choice. Happiness is a choice. Optimism is a choice. Kindness is a choice. Giving is a choice. Respect is a choice. Whatever choice you make makes you. Choose wisely.”

"The choice before us is simple
Will we continue to subsidize the dirty fossil fuels of the past, or will we transition to 21st century clean, renewable energy?"

Fortunately here on the border I have a rich choice of both Norfolk, and Suffolk owls. Most sadly lost all their young last year, or did not breed at all. Thank goodness the previous year they had record numbers of fledglings here in the fens, and Brecks. This particular bird roosts, and hunts mainly on the Suffolk side.
