Ok, here's what I really wanted to show off: These stickers are from a Sanrio calendar book that I'd gotten years and years ago! One for every month, see? I never knew the names (or backgrounds, or "friends", or weights or orientations) of the characters, and though I still don't I now have the reference materials to look up such priceless information! Err, if I didn't have an internet connection to look such info up on Sanrio's own site.

Heyyyyy, I noticed this and so did someone else at work a few years ago: Why is Badtz Maru, who used to be the only black character, the "bad boy"? Stuck out immediately when I first saw the character, and that was why I decided to champion him and buy all his products. Thank god/Sanrio that they've since added the innocuous ChocoCat to the roster. We loves her, me preciousnesses!

The 4 year old likes girly stuff and her parents just got a new aquarium with 3 differently coloured gold fish. Inside the fish parcel is crafts packet for making (paper) fish etc. (and a Hello Kitty Chococat notebook since she'll be going to school now!). The flower parcel contains a game I liked very much when I was a child :)
