I think I'm back. It's been way colder than normal here - more snow than I can ever remember, and I really want some warm sunny days again. We are supposed to be living in the "tropical paradise" of Canada on the west coast, but this time, we are getting colder temperatures than the east coast.
Our first Christmas in December was good, but when we were out of town seeing family for a second Christmas, a family member nearly died and is now recovering, so some very tough days there for a bit. Life gives us the good and the bad and it is a very strong reminder to me of how I need to cherish every moment with my loved ones. I hope you all had a lovely holiday, not too stressful, and I look forward to catching up with you in the next few days.
