A lot of people get the Chevelle vs Malibu debate all wrong. The main difference between the Chevrolet Chevelle and the Malibu is that the Chevelle was the overarching vehicle model nameplate, while the Malibu was a premium trim level within that same line The Malibu was an upgraded Chevelle.Every Malibu was a Chevelle but not every Chevelle could be a Malibu.
