Sometimes I feel the need to write ...
to add some narrative to the image and to share my experience of the subject.
I even think it's as much about me working things out for myself in the process of doing this, like a gentle sifting of the wheat from the chaff for the golden grains of my own truth.
Then there are times when I feel silence would be better ....
I have visited Osterley House & Gardens for years to photograph the cherry tree in the winter garden. On my visit three years ago the tree had died, apparently they don't have a long life but I left there devastated at it's loss.
It was a lovely surprise yesterday to come across this gorgeous new tree growing near the glass house looking stunning as only a young cherry blossom tree can.
