Senderisme per Xera.
Xera és un municipi muntanyós de la província de València, que compta amb 502 habitants i dista 85 km del seu capital. Immers en una envoltant tranquil·litat i quietud, el poble es troba ubicat en l'interior d'una enorme fossa tectònica formada fa seixanta-cinc milions d'anys i rodejat per escarpats pics de fins a 1.176 m d'altitud. La seua economia està basada fonamentalment en el turisme rural i en l'agricultura de muntanya, on destaquen el cultiu d'ametlers i oliveres.
La localitat concentra uns valors naturals i paisatgístics únics, que s'intenten conservar i protegir per mitjà de la creació d'un parc Geològic, una Fundació Mediambiental i un parc Natural. Amaga llocs de sorprenent bellesa i indubtable interés turístic de visita obligatòria com l'embassament de Buseo, el barranc de la Falç, les coves de la Garita i el castell de Xera, entre altres atractius.
Senderismo por Chera.
Chera es un municipio montañoso de la provincia de Valencia, que cuenta con 502 habitantes y dista 85 km de su capital. Inmerso en una envolvente tranquilidad y quietud, el pueblo se encuentra ubicado en el interior de una enorme fosa tectónica formada hace sesenta y cinco millones de años y rodeado por escarpados picos de hasta 1.176 m de altitud. Su economía está basada fundamentalmente en el turismo rural y en la agricultura de montaña, donde destacan el cultivo de almendros y olivos.
La localidad concentra unos valores naturales y paisajísticos únicos, que se intentan conservar y proteger mediante la creación de un Parque Geológico, una Fundación Medioambiental y un Parque Natural. Esconde lugares de sorprendente belleza e indudable interés turístico de visita obligatoria como el embalse de Buseo, el barranco de la Hoz, las cuevas de la Garita y el castillo de Xera, entre otros atractivos.

El embalse de Buseo es un bello remanso que recuerda los paisajes suizos, y que se formó al levantar un dique de 40 m de altura, en el cauce del río Reatillo

The strong light that Valencia gets in the summer softens with the sunset and creates fantastic contrasts.
This is near Chulilla, a small village in the center of the National Park of Chera. A beautiful place for hiking and taking photos.

La fuerte luz que recibe Valencia durante los días de verano se hace más suave con la puesta de sol y crea fantásticos contrastes.
Esta foto fue tomado cerca de Chulilla, un pequeño pueblo en medio del Parque Nacional de Chera. Un sitio precioso para hacer senderismo y tomar fotos.

St. Martin's Island is a small island in the northeastern part of the Bay of Bengal, about 9 km south of the tip of the Cox's Bazar-Teknaf peninsula, and forming the southernmost part of Bangladesh. There is a small adjoining island that is separated at high tide, called Chera Dwip. Millennia ago, the island used to be an extension of the Teknaf peninsula, but at a later time some portion of this peninsula got submerged and thus the southernmost part of the aforementioned peninsula became an island, and was disconnected from the Bangladesh mainland. The first settlement started 250 years ago, in 18th century, by Arabian merchants who named the island 'Jazira'. During British occupation the island was named after the then Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Mr. Martin as St. Martin Island. Likely because one or more of the Arabs were Saint and whose name could not be identified. Local names of the island are "Narikel jinjira"[3] which means 'Coconut Island', and "Daruchini Dwip" which means "Cinnamon island". It is the only coral island in Bangladesh.

So many exposures that I can't even remember the exact number were used to blend for the light trails and the details for the building.

Situado en la cuenca media del río Turia y junto a su afluente por la derecha, el río Sot o Reatillo. El relieve es muy accidentado, y poca parte del término es aprovechable para la agricultura por lo quebrado del terreno.
Queda dentro del poderoso anticlinal jurásico de orientación ibérica que baja desde los confines con la provincia de Cuenca y que termina en los pie de montes inmediatamente anteriores a la planicie de la Huerta valenciana. Por lo que es sede del Parque Natural de Chera-Sot de Chera, primer parque geológico de la Comunidad Valenciana y uno de los tres existentes en España.
Destacan las alturas de Tarraque, la Jaca, Fuentecillas, Morroncillo y Pozo Mínguez, a cuyo conjunto montañoso denominan en Sot "La Sierra", siempre con altitudes comprendidas entre los 900 m y los 950 msnm , si bien el fondo del valle se halla a sólo 250 m como término medio. Es zona rica en fuentes entre las que destacan Santa María, Feig y del Ramblizo.
