Hey checkitout. I still fit into my Prom dress.....and oddly enough...not my Wedding dress....hm.
I literally took this right after I got up. (no I didn't sleep in that dress...haha) So no makeup and mussy hair..hee hee....guess it complimented the concept. Erm...At least I'd like to think so. (excuses, excuses.)
Anyways. Been just chilling out listening to Theory of a Deadman and drinkin coffee.

which helped us to really celebrate our two milestone
birthdays (hey, you only go this way once!) . . .

Spent some time with my new "Check it out! Sisters." These came as a pair of very wonderful surprise gifts this year. I had passed on the duo when the originally came out, mostly due to space constraints. I have way too many Momokos. But I loved the idea of sisters, their outfits, the face ups.
It was funny in a nice way that they found a way to me. Also apt since they are dressed in Christmas colors. They go well as sisters and Seki has done a good job in styling them appropriately per their age.
Frankie gave us a Christmas gift to open before the 25th. It's a cheese plate and on the handle of the knife it says, "Spread the JOY".

Mmmm, love redcurrants. When I was a kid, I used to hang bunches over my ears and pretend they were earrings. Of course, I didn't have much of an inner life back than.
It's not like I planned a week of red and pink foodstuffs, honest. These just caught my eye. Buffed to perfection by Florabella's milk and honey texture.
And for MSH's jam, because that's where redcurrants are usually headed. Though I haven't got enough, so I'm scoffing these raw. May have to ditch MSH this month, but I'm still pretending I'm in with a chance for now.

It's finally snowing for like the first time in such a long time!
I dragged my sister outside to pose for me in the snow. She was complaining at first, but then got into it real quick.
I may have over edited it while I was playing with the exposure, but I like it.
After staring at this for a while, it appears to look like it's raining. :/
The distraction of a photographer is when you get all strapped in to go somewhere to take photos. And you end up photographing something else as simple as rain drops on a window :P

The yearbook is why I joined the Seed Savers Exchange. It's the craziest seed catalog you've ever seen. There are no pretty pictures (except that one on the cover), just listings from 694 members covering 12,495 unique varieties. Many of these are no longer available from commercial seed catalogs and some have been passed down for generations. It is mind blowing and I think it's going to kick my seed saving to a whole new level. You can be a non-listed member and just buy seeds from members through the yearbook but the real point is to save enough seed to share and become a listed member. So far my favorite variety I've spotted is a melon called "Sweet Princess Round Paradise'. My garden is about to get a lot more interesting!!
