I had a dream last night, chasing the light and an object along the lake… laughed myself when I woke up… searched my archived photos, got the one like the scenes in the dream… What would be nice if we could travel there this fall… I heard from my friend there were lots of tourists there now. Hopefully they can keep the social distances and be safe!

A macro of the large and beautiful seedheads of salsify. It was a lovely surprise to discover the very fine filaments you can see on the photo which are not really visible to the naked eye. Simple pleasures :-))
I saw spectacular view of the sunset/twilight colors in the distance but it wasn't possible to take a decent shot while driving a winding road until this spot ...
A snapshot which will stay in my memory.
I'm not sure if the chase was courtship or territorial, but it sure was fast action and fun to watch!

A pair of daffodils catch the evening sun at the back of my garden. Because their backs are to the house, I need to get out there and explore if I want to see their shining faces at this time of the day.

In 1969 John Denver released the new album called, Rhymes and Reasons and the song from this album with the same name written to children of the whole world.....I remember hearing it for the very first time and I had tears in my eyes even back than as I have now......

I always thought the dog chases the rabbit. In this case, in the foreground I can see a rabbit chasing a dog!

The original is of reflections on the surface of a lake. I never noticed the many shapes and figures before this until I was working with the photo the other day.

I have been complaining over the years our Northern Mockingbirds are Bossy and chasing all the birds from the feeders,
Have not seen them lately, perhaps thats why for 5 minutes it was lifting its wings as to tell me here I am!

One day before Christmas the whole country was covered in fog but the mountain peaks were sunny so we got in the car and spent an hour in the fresh air.
