He is handsome and he is the alpha male of the boer goats at a local park, the one who rules the roost. This goat is quite a character but very friendly too and he LOVES visitors.

Back to Sanford Winery (aka Sideways Winery.) It is such a cool little spot with lots of character. I took many photos of the place because it's painted the most virbrant shade of red/orange.

Archie was perched on the arm of the chair watching a fly buzzing around the room. Light was streaming in through the window and casting reflections that made a beam of light effect and I just had to reach for my camera! I quickly swapped to my telephoto lens so I didn't get too close and disturb his pose. Enjoy!
Jeepneys of Siquijor, Philippines
The first 'jeepneys', the main public transport in many Philippine cities, as well as between regional centers, were modified SUVs that the US military abandoned in the country after World War II. Customized with Filipino details, they sport chrome, colorful headlights, radio antennas, paintings of the Virgin Mary or comic book characters. Service routes are written on the sides of the vehicle.

I always have wanted to do one of these character evolution thingie, so I decided to do one of Cherrelyn, mainly because she is one of my oldest character and whom has evolved so much. This was a moment when the members of Steam Powered Giraffe www.steampoweredgiraffe.com/ announced that they were going out of character and shatter all of our childhood dreams ... hehe ... they take breaks and talk to the people during their performance ... here is Upgrade... ( Erin is her real name ) totally out of character ;-)

This photo is part of the final assignment "Character Portrait" in my "Lighting Techniques" photography course. The portrait should reflect a lot of "character". I chose keylight on the left and fill light on the front. The hair is also slightly lightened at the back on the left. The depth of field is very limited, with some blur already present at the back of the hair.

Strangely enough, the first character in Fried Green Tomatoes was the cafe, and the town. I think a place can be as much a character in a novel as the people.

We met in the hot house at Dunedin Botanic Gardens. A warming place on a winter walk. Still some golden leaves on a tree outside but they may have fallen in the last few days.
This marvellous little moth hides in plain sight by imitating a bird dropping . Close inspection reveals the exquisite detail that completes its wonderful disguise.

Kanji (at least I think it is kanji) characters carved on the torii path at the Fushimi Inari-taisha shrine, Kyoto.
I believe the characters spell out the names of individuals and business that donated the torii gates to the shrine.
You choose your friends by their character
