I've driven through this junction hundreds of times and often wondered what this shot would look like. When I saw snow on the ground I knew that would give extra contrast so I parked up and went up onto a foot bridge to tkae the shot. I could not get a full sequence of the traffic lights in one exposure so this is 4 shots stacked in photoshop.

There is a lovely story attached to this iconic place in the north east of England, a lovley man obviously named Charlie used to tend to this garden when it was attached to the mainland, a sign of changing times and tides.

This stump was charred during a prescribed burn at the refuge last month. The fire was used to prevent tree encroachment in the grasslands.

The Char Minar, 1807, ( Four Minarets) was part of a madrassa built by a Turkoman merchant called Khalif Niyazkul. The madrassa is long gone, The beautiful minarets are all that is left.

El tanque- Char Chaman tiene una plataforma construida en el centro. Hay cuatro puentes en cuatro direcciones diferentes que conducen a la plataforma y permiten que las personas lleguen a la plataforma desde cualquier lado, esta plataforma servía apara acoger a músicos. La plataforma y los puentes están hechos de arenisca roja, que se ve muy hermosa junto con el agua. Akbar, sus begums y muchos nobles a menudo visitaban este tanque para disfrutar de la refrescante brisa que proporciona el agua que se refresca naturalmente. El legendario músico Tansen actuó en una isla en el medio del tanque Anup Talao y se dice que con solo su mirada hacía que se encendieran las lámparas… .

Château du Clos Lucé (37) – Parc Léonard de Vinci
