Whatcha gonna do with the 36 cents
Sticky with Coke on your floorboard
When a woman on the street is huddled in the cold
On a sidewalk vent trying to keep warm
Do you call her over, hand her the change
Ask her story, ask her her name
Or do you tell yourself
You're just a fool
Just a fool to believe you can change the world
You're just a fool
Just a fool to believe you can change the world
Oh, whatcha gonna do when you're watching TV
And an ad comes on, yeah you know the kind
Flashing up pictures of a child in need
For a dime a day you could save a life
Do you call the number, reach out a hand
Or do you change the channel, call it a scam
Or do you tell yourself
You're just a fool
Just a fool to believe you can change the world
Don't listen to 'em when they say
You're just a fool
Just a fool to believe you can change the world

One New Change is a modern Office and retail development just next to St Paul's Cathedral. (As seen from the Stone Gallery - around the bottom of the dome).
1501 U St NW (corner of 15th St), Washington, DC.
The sign says "24 Seven of 1408 U Street coming here as Mediterranean, salad & grill, brick oven pizza." I hope they come up with a better name than just "Mediterranean."

Although you can't see them in this photo, a lot of high thin clouds were working their way in from the SW and were eating away at the light. Eventually it got so bad that I decided to call it quits and headed for my car. Halfway there it things brightened considerably, and a w/b green appeared on M1, so I changed my mind and headed down the platform to set up a dark side capture.

Having a bit of juxtapositional fun with the recently installed Borofsky sculpture on campus. The larger size shows what's going on a bit better.

I took a wrong turn in Whistler and ended up in a cul-de-sac type of neighbourhood where I came upon this pretty, idyllic scene. Doesn't it just invite you to sit down with a cup of hot java (or tea) and watch the season change?
Clive's methods wouldn't go down so well today with the chaps in the building behind.
Incidentally when he was accused of corruption he retorted: "By God... I stand astonished at my own moderation". This is a worthy quote and could be remembered by bankers, arms dealers and minor members of the Windsor family.
His suicide may have been connected with this investigation but is much more likely to be associated with the pain caused by his illness.

...people sitting outside, green trees and being able to be outside without freezing...
...I'll accept this change...it is not a hard decision...not that it is a decision...
State street is alive at night and the trees help bring it to life in this shot shortly after dusk (still some blue in the sky)...
