An extra CIRES (with a couple of Giant Acroyear stand-in parts) before sale. Needed to collect a couple in order to be able to make a color-matched all-blue AcroJet (photos later). Interestingly, I noticed that each had boxes made of different types of card stock--one thin, the other a thicker, corrugated cardboard.
Posters of the "Change of Era" exhibition are all over town.
In the middle is a slide from the exhibition, of my dearly missed friend, Thierry Kazazian, who initiated the project 2 years ago.
Some of the people in the shots are bystanders, some are my friends with whom I was lucky enough to work with on this project in it's early stages. We came together from all over the world to see the exhibition and honour Thierry's memory.

Hello Fellow Humans,
We here in the heart of Woodstock Ontario had a fantastic Day on 10/10/10, we had over 40 people give their email in support and interest in making our local community a strong sustainable one. We had a Solar Panelled truck powering a 52" tv, large P.A. system with wireless mic, a computer to play documentaries and 350 stuff on throughout the day, and free cell phone charges. We gave away over 25 trees to plant, most of our tables were made out of recycled skids, and we had a demonstration of how to clean up oil naturally with hay. We hope to bring a co-op store and buying group, live music to involve the youth, and regular democracy rallies, because democracy doesn't work just voting and protesting and goin' home. We need to and are going to, have a vibrant cultural resurgence, God willing. Lead the way as you have already gathered many under the hope of autonomous collective moral governance.

I love my Carl Zeiss :) The shallow depth of field allows a small change in focus to completely change the object of focus in the image. Such as these two pondering penguins.

Buckingham Palace - The band for the Changing of the Guard ceremony is still in playing (towards the right), while some foreign ambassadors arrive for audience with the Quenn. I had to use two shots to be able to include the royal flag at the top. London; July 2005

Seen here, NS V20 brings a large cut of stacks west by Yadkin Rd. The train is on it's way to the CWRY in Suffolk, but will turn on the wye in Petersburg to avoid tying up the mainline for a run-around. This is a first time move, as V14/V07 started running to Portlock instead of the CWRY in Suffolk today. I don't expect these moves to last long, as it adds quite a bit of time and work to the trains runs.

Took a few pics with my crappy cell phone, and played around with them on windows photo editor. Since they're my own yard, I will NOT be geotagging this set of pics.

This again is from the Dubai, from the Jumeirah Beach Residence. The two center buildings are the Oasis Beach Towers, which the architecture being in stark contrast to the neighbouring buildings. I guess I had to show what is constantly happening in Dubai, namely construction. In front of the towers used to be another that was built (I believe) within the last 15 years. Well its no longer there, it was being knocked down whilst we're were staying at the Oasis. Just shows that the landscape there is changing rapidly and is unforgiving.
Will aim to shoot new stuff this week, fingers crossed.

In San Francisco, over 50 Draw The Line organizers gathered to sound the
alarm that vast tracts of San Francisco's Bayview Hunters Point and
Treasure Island are at sea level on the San Francisco Bay and are also
situated on or next to toxic and radioactively contaminated sites. As
climate change progresses, these neighborhoods will be at high danger of
a perfect storm of disastrous interactions between sea rise, earthquake
liquefaction, tsunami vulnerability, and the toxic and radioactive
contamination.
