The Queen Elinor transforming doll from the Disney Store. You don't actually have to put her in the bear suit, it works fine on its own. But I guess if kids were acting out the story, it would be fun to put her in the suit.

This shot of a Conrail ballast train was taken in Hunt Valley, Maryland back in 1988. If you go back to this spot today, you'd be standing on a double-tracked welded rail electrified mainline.
You won't be seeing any GP38-2s here today, as this right of way is the MTA's light rail line, and the only thing you'll see here now are glorified streetcars.
I still regret not taking the time to remove that stupid branch.

A few days ago I shot this beautiful little berry and it was pink & red, you don't find much pink in the fall, but now the berries have changed to this wonderful red glow. Magical.
I was looking at all the pics on this page and thinking about how very different they all are - bold, calming, funny, soft....i like the wide range of emotions they bring out in me. And hopefully you. I love how looking at a photo can really make you feel something. Sometimes I open a picture on Flickr and my hand goes to my chest and my mouth falls open. I love that...
Thank you all for your thoughtful comments. I know I cannot take a pic every day that makes people go wow.... but I was thrilled to see your comments on that ocean pic a few down the page here because I think it is one of my favorite photos I have ever taken.
Cheers. And HBW!
Sheffield 1988 and eighteen months into the world of deregulated bus services in the UK. South Yorkshire Dennis Dominator 2113 is seen in an area of the city undergoing redevelopment with a former Greater Manchester Daimler Fleetline behind loading on a service that would be being operated in competition with the PTE.
South Yorkshire faced deregulation harder than others as heavily subsidised fares previously had made public transport a viable option for the people of the county. However that fatefull day in October 1986 changed all. Bus fares climbed and new operators appeared on the streets to compete with the PTE.
Any takers on who is operating the Fleetline behind? Brecks?
It's one of those cloudy days in West Yorkshire, where we have a sky that is ever changing and both a mix of cloud and blue sky peeping through. By 5 pm there is a lot more sunshine ans there was this morning earlier on,.....better than rain !
You can see on the fields though the change in light levels as clouds pass over....all looking rather lush at the moment.

Malabry, Paris tramline 10. The same tram with at left the doors open and at right the doors closed. The lights above the doors change colours when opening / closing the doors. The same happens inside the trams at the ceiling.
The reserve engine is finally changed out. Since it's our own dedicated reserve rig, it will be parked behind our front line after we clean it.
A definite change in body shape. The post Christmas tummy is sticking around.
Partly due to limited gym visits and no major attempt at January diet.
I'm content though - and that is the ultimate goal, is it not?
Thistles always catch my eyes. There is just something about their spiky bodies, and then the various changes of their lives, that speak to my soul. I loved how these two were captured so close together and yet in such different stages of life. I think it is always healthy to have different ages of people in your life. You miss out on so much, if you shut out any age from interacting with you. Sometimes that means we need to take a bit more effort, in making the time for someone, who may be young or old, or in a physical hardship. Whatever age you are, I pray you will be enriched by others of all ages, and that your heart will be full to overflowing from the wonders they bring into your life. God bless you all.

ACCOUNT WILL CHANGE!
ME IN ADDITION SHESWANE. [http://www.flickr.com/photos/sheswane]
So, after much trying to edit the photos I've ever had in the pc I came to the conclusion that urgently needed new photos, and that's what I did with a little time this afternoon.
Yes, I took new pictures! And I'll put them here.
I had the obligation to delete the photo I had posted, was really ugly, a little creative and poorly edited. I think I did well, since the photo I'm posting now had a beautiful result.
My day was quiet as usual.
Thanks for the views and comments, I am very happy to see that you like the shit that I photograph. Thank same.
Kisses, Wanessa Mariano.

VOU MUDAR DE CONTA!
ME ADICIONEM NO SHESWANE. [http://www.flickr.com/photos/sheswane]
Então, depois de muito tentar editar as fotos que eu já tinha no pc eu cheguei a conclusão de que precisava urgentemente de novas fotos, e foi isso que eu fiz com uma parte do meu tempo nessa tarde.
Sim, tirei novas fotos!
Beijinhos, Wanessa Mariano.
There I was in an M&S changing room looking at this dress from all possible angles trying to decide whether to buy it or not. I decided to take this (poor quality) picture so that I could decide at a later date. I do hate these should I shouldn't I moments.
i only have about 5 minutes to type this, so i'll come back and add more later--maybe.
my second graders are doing an incredible job on these lil "heidelberg houses". i used ideas by jenn (thanks!!) in atlanta to use up a ton of popsicle sticks.
i decided to focus on The Heidelberg Project as an inspiration--and especially the idea of "change".
The kids really got into it and I am sooooo happy w/ the results. the classroom teachers are on board and doing writing/reading about Heidelberg, AND......we are hoping to win a field trip from Target so we can go in the spring. Yay!
i'll post more of the houses later. now off to prep for 1st grade.
