This is the crystal chandelier that illuminates the Hall of Saint George of the Generalitat Palace (Catalonia) since 1929.
I thought I would work the kaleidoscope this week for a shot, I found a chandelier begging to be shot and when I did the kaleidoscope it was perfect but just my dumb luck, I did move it 1 degree either way and it was no good just happen to hit dead center to get the spokes perfect.
I have photographed this beautiful chandelier on April 27, 2019. Can you guess its location in North America ? Correct answer: Grand Central Terminal, Manhattan, New York City, USA.

It is always good to remember that what we consider old now, back in the day was very modern. Case in point is this part of the church Saint Etienne in Perriers-sur-Andelle. The church itself is medieval, founded in the 11th century, with some architectural details added in the 14th century. But not here. Here we can quite obviously see some later works, this is not medieval (and the church did see substantial work done in the 16th and the 19th century). So at one point this was the modern, up-to-date part of the church when the rest of it was more or less dated and old-fashioned.
Much better On Black
Spotted this beautiful chandelier at the Immigrant Museum on Ellis Island. I was trying to imagine the island a hundred years ago when it was immigrants first stop before they enter the United States as I looked at it. Then I decided to give this old & classic texture spin to the photo.

When I went walking in the botanical gardens this morning there was a profusion of these little fluffy webs....I was enchanted by them.

At Omni La Mason del Rio, San Antonio, Texas
Omni La Mansion del Rio first opened its doors in 1968 for the San Antonio World Fair, but before being a luxury hotel the site was the location of St. Mary’s College from 1852 – 1966.A Texas historic landmark, the hotel is built and decorated in the Spanish Colonial Mexico style with white stucco walls, Spanish terracotta tiles, dark wooden trim, curved arches and columns, and cloistered courtyards. It’s as if you are staying in a Spanish hacienda in Mexico. (www.calculatedtraveller.com/blog/la-mansion-del-rio-san-a...)
A fabulous chandelier illuminates this spiral staircase in the lobby of the Mövenpick Hotel in the city of Basel in Switzerland.

I've found myself strangely attached to this image. I usually don't think too much about chandelier. After I accidentally took this image, I began to notice the beauty behind this kind of object. It's good that I let my camera to "see" for me sometimes.

Party girls don′t get hurt
Can't feel anything, when will I learn?
I push it down, I push it down
I′m the one for a "good time call"
Phone's blowin' up, ringin′ my doorbell
I feel the love, feel the love
One, two, three, one, two, three, drink
One, two, three, one, two, three, drink
One, two, three, one, two, three, drink
Throw ′em back 'til I lose count
I′m gonna swing from the chandelier
From the chandelier
I'm gonna live like tomorrow doesn′t exist
Like it doesn't exist
I′m gonna fly like a bird through the night
Feel my tears as they dry
I'm gonna swing from the chandelier
From the chandelier
But I'm holding on for dear life
Won′t look down, won′t open my eyes
Keep my glass full until morning light
'Cause I′m just holding on for tonight
Help me, I'm holding on for dear life
Won′t look down, won't open my eyes
Keep my glass full until morning light
′Cause I'm just holding on for tonight
On for tonight
Sun is up, I'm a mess
Gotta get out now, gotta run from this
Here comes the shame, here comes the shame (ah)
One, two, three, one, two, three, drink
One, two, three, one, two, three, drink
One, two, three, one, two, three, drink
Throw ′em back ′til I lose count

From the chandelier

'Cause I'm just holding on for tonight
Oh, I′m just holding on for tonight
