This is the crystal chandelier that illuminates the Hall of Saint George of the Generalitat Palace (Catalonia) since 1929.

I thought I would work the kaleidoscope this week for a shot, I found a chandelier begging to be shot and when I did the kaleidoscope it was perfect but just my dumb luck, I did move it 1 degree either way and it was no good just happen to hit dead center to get the spokes perfect.
When I went walking in the botanical gardens this morning there was a profusion of these little fluffy webs....I was enchanted by them.

Huge glass chandelier in the entrance hall of Ayers House, a historic mansion from the past and now a museum. I visited it to see the Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries fashion exhibition.
Ayers House is named after Sir Henry Ayers, five times Premier of South Australia and wealthy industrialist, who occupied it from 1855 until 1897.

At Omni La Mason del Rio, San Antonio, Texas
Omni La Mansion del Rio first opened its doors in 1968 for the San Antonio World Fair, but before being a luxury hotel the site was the location of St. Mary’s College from 1852 – 1966.A Texas historic landmark, the hotel is built and decorated in the Spanish Colonial Mexico style with white stucco walls, Spanish terracotta tiles, dark wooden trim, curved arches and columns, and cloistered courtyards. One of seven Faustig chandeliers in the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. This is one of the 'smaller' ones. The largest, the 9.5 ton world record (2007) chandelier in the main prayer hall, is reported to be the 3rd largest in the world. The chandeliers were made by the renowned Fautig Company in Germany, containing millions of Swarovski crystals, and took 2 years to complete. Abu Dhabi, UAE.
