After what has seemed a good while, an opportunity to see D1015 presented itself today so after filiming it locally, the move to see it further west was made. D1015 Western Champion leads the 1Z33, "Golden Hind", Paddington to Plymouth via B&H and Frome as the Western powers through Witham Friary

It was great to spend some time sat alongside the River Dart with some fellow railway photographers as we waited with anticipation for the arrival of Western Champion working the 1Z79 1556 Plymouth to Buckfastleigh, in particular it was nice to meet Clive Smith for the first time having corresponded via Flickr and Facebook for many years.
D1015 looked stunning and the afternoon breeze eased to facilitate a deep almost perfect reflection.
